I've started over with nothing. Here's what I learned.
There was a time we lost everything. Our house, our income, all of it. I was a single mom of four, and I had to figure out how to take care of my family.
We sold what we had left. I bought a house for $40,000 and put the other $40,000 into fixing it up. I got my real estate license and flipped houses while I taught school. Then I got my MBA and my mortgage license, and I built a business that grew fast.
It grew so fast I didn't have time for my own kids. That's when I started building systems, so the work got done without me holding every piece of it.
And it worked. The time came back. So I used it to build more: care homes, a home care agency we sold, a medical clinic, rental homes, and a business for each of my kids. Today I get to travel with my husband and be there for my grandbaby.
I'm not special. I just learned to steer. Now I want to show you how.
